Kai Tak Sports Park Gradually Opens Selected Sports Facilities Starting 7 March Individual Bookings Available For "Friends of KTSP" Members Beginning 6 March
(5 March 2025, Hong Kong) With the official opening of Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP), the major facilities within the precinct are gradually being prepared to promote sports for all by providing brand new venue facilities and sports experiences. The park will start opening some sports facilities for booking by "Friends of KTSP" members starting from Thursday, 6 March. Details are as follows:
KTSP offers modern and multi-functional recreational sports facilities designed to meet international standards, suitable for hosting major international events and providing more opportunities for local elite athletes to compete on home venue. The facilities within the park are designed for flexible use, promoting sports for all in the community by offering brand new venue facilities and sports experiences. When there are no events or group bookings, the park will open some facilities and arrange suitable time slots to "Friends of KTSP" members for booking, allowing everyone to enjoy the joy of sports together.
To ensure a wonderful user experience and draw on insights gained from a series of previous test events, we will gradually open some facilities within the precinct for members’ booking. In the first phase, we will initially make available the running tracks and table tennis facilities at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, welcoming interested individuals to make reservations for use.
All individuals aged 15 or above can register as members of "Friends of KTSP" and start booking sports facilities available within the next 10 days, beginning at 7:00 am on 6 March through the Kai Tak Sports Park website or mobile APP.
