Kai Tak Sports Park Gradually Opens Outdoor Sports Facilities Individual Bookings Available For "Friends of KTSP" Members

(9 July 2025, Hong Kong) Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) is committed to promoting sports in the community through modern and multifunctional recreational sports facilities, allowing members of the public to explore various types of sports. Today, the park announced that starting immediately, selected outdoor sports facilities are open for booking by “Friends of KTSP” members, including a beach volleyball court and a covered hard-surface court, suitable for emerging sports such as beach volley, football, futsal, handball, and pickleball. People of all ages and sports enthusiasts are welcome to reserve these facilities.

Since its Grand Opening in March this year, KTSP has gradually opened its indoor sports facilities to "Friends of KTSP" members for reservation. These include running tracks and table tennis facilities at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground, badminton and basketball courts at the Kai Tak Arena, and Airbadminton facilities at the Kai Tak Mall. So far, over 20,000 members visits have been recorded, with promising booking and usage.

KTSP continues to optimize its individual booking process for sports facilities drawing on operational experiences. We have further opened outdoor sports facilities within the North Garden at KTSP for “Friends of KTSP” members to book when there are no scheduled competitions or group bookings. These facilities include the beach volleyball court and the covered hard-surface court, which are suitable for futsal, handball and pickleball. The beach volleyball court meets international standards, featuring spectator seating, shading structures, and rest areas to ensure a comfortable experience for both users and audiences. Interested individuals are encouraged to make reservations.

All individuals aged 15 or above can register as members of "Friends of KTSP" and start booking available sports facilities within the next 10 days through the Kai Tak Sports Park website or mobile app.
